Are Baker Boy Hats Still In Style?

The baker boy hat, also known as the newsboy hat, or fiddler cap, has been on the fashion scene for quite some time. They were originally made for men dating back to the 14th century but as the decades past, they have been revisioned as a stylish accessory many well known celebrities and models alike are wearing.

The idea for this post came about because I was picking out an outfit one day, and my hair was an actual disaster, but I still wanted to dress nice so I couldn't put a baseball cap on. I looked over to my dresser and saw my baker boy hat sitting on top.  I must admit, I was a little out of touch with what was trending in fashion at this moment, so I wondered if it was still "fashionable" to wear this hat. I try not to care too much about what is in style, though, and go with what I think looks cute. So, I threw it on and called it a day. Now, flash forward to this week as I was scrolling through my runway app looking at all of the past runway looks and getting ready for NYFW, and I came upon these beauties from the Fall 2019 Ready-To-Wear collection by Sally LaPointe:

Seeing these gorrrrrrgeous looks showed me that these hats are actually still in style! Which made me happy. Keeping up with them trends is hard, but I've enjoyed catching up with what is ~in style~ and I am so excited for the rest of Fashion Month!

Here are some ways to style baker boy hats as shown by celebrities, as well as my own personal outfit! I personally think adding a baker boy hat makes any outfit look 100x more chicer. I've seen a lot of different opinions on them though, especially as I researched for this post. What do you guys think about baker boy hats? Yay or nay?
