THE FACE BEHIND THE BLOG

Hi! My name is Dominique.  I am a 23 year old who loves fashion, classic movies, carbs, and Disney.     I've been writing in one form or another for about 10 years, and I've been in the fashion industry for 6. As soon as I graduated high school I started selling vintage clothing on Etsy, Ebay, and Poshmark.  I did this for about 5 years until I moved to Florida and had to sell off most of my inventory to afford the move.  I actually originally created this blog to help promote my shop.  Since than it has evolved into a place to show off my love for fashion as well as write about other things close to my heart.  I honestly really wrestled with relaunching my blog. I really value authenticity and the social media ~influencer~ industry is severely lacking in that.  I'm trying to approach blogging and how I represent myself in a real way without idealizing myself or my life.  My goal here is to not make you jealous or wish you were me. (Which lets be real 96% of social media influencers or bloggers whether it is intentional or not, when scrolling through their feed that's how it makes you feel. I know that's how it makes me feel!) I just want to share my love of fashion with all of you. And write about stuff I love or that matters to me. That's all!
